Naturalistic Driving Study Results: Impact of Sleep and Crash Countermeasures

Commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers operating vehicles instrumented with data collection equipment under their normal route conditions provide researchers with real-time insight regarding detailed pre-crash events and driver behavior. This webinar will provide relevant data analyses on how sleep quantity impacts safety-critical events. It will also discuss the most frequent functional countermeasures identified for both instrumented trucks and non-instrumented trucks.
