Challenge Implementation—Step 1 of 4
The first step in implementing your challenge is to apply for access and learn how to post your challenge on Challenge.gov. Here’s a rough list of the information you will need:
-
Name, tagline, and description for your challenge
-
How to enter your challenge and the rules
-
Prize structure (how many prizes, how many dollars each, description if it’s a non–monetary prize)
-
Name, title and organization for all judges
-
Criteria judges will use to choose winners
-
Relevant dates (when you will accept submissions, judging period, when public voting will occur, when the winners will be announced)
- Name of your challenge
- Basic description
- Relevant dates
- Prize Information
- Link to the site where people will actually enter your challenge.
Potential entrants will be linked from Challenge.gov to the site where they will actually make their submission. If you run into any problems or have any questions, email the Challenge.gov team.
Next Step
After you've posted your challenge, you'll need to promote your challenge.
