Woman Pleads Guilty to Fraudulent Airport Identification

Summary
Maria Louisa Milanes, a/k/a Maria Gonzalez, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Miami to providing a false identity and Social Security number to fraudulently obtain an airport identification badge. Milanes also pled to illegal immigration charges. Milanes provided the false information in order to conceal the fact she had previously been deported from the United States for a conviction of a felony offense and entered the United States without permission. OIG investigated this case with the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service.
