Former Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration Employee Receives Jail Time for Issuing Unauthorized IDs

Summary

Mellarie L. Chisholm, a former employee of the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, was sentenced in U.S. District Court judge in Baltimore, MD, to five months in jail and five months of electronic monitoring and home detention for producing fake identification documents and mail racketeering conspiracy. Chisholm accepted money for assisting two undocumented aliens obtain Maryland identification cards. She pleaded guilty in February.
