The U.S. Citizen Services Unit in Chennai would like to bring to your attention a change in its entrance and work hours during the month of February 2013.  Please read this message carefully if you are planning to appear at the Consulate for passport or other services in February.

Beginning Monday, February 4 to Friday, February 22, the U.S. Citizen Services Unit will be open for all services only between 2.00pm and 4.00pm and will be operating from the visa lobby.  Individuals requiring services, including routine appointments, passport pickup and emergencies should enter the Consulate through the visa entrance on Anna Salai.  Please arrange to be dropped at the Oxford Press gate located directly next to the U.S. Consulate on Anna Salai. A Consulate representative will meet you there and further direct you to the building’s entrance.
