An update is also provided about the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Coast Guard and EPA and new updates to the eNOI system.

- NPDES Vessels Program Quarterly Newsletter for the Spring of 2011 (PDF) - Topics in this issue include an update on EPA's Science Advisory Board activities, information on the VGP one-time reports, and links to the signed Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Coast Guard and EPA to better coordinate efforts to implement and enforce VGP requirements for vessels as well as short fact sheets about the VGP translated into multiple languages. Information regarding settlement with environmental groups and the State of Michigan regarding their legal challenge to the VGP and the extension of New York's ballast water compliance dates is also included.

- NPDES Vessels Program Quarterly Newsletter - The EPA has launched this quarterly newsletter to provide periodic updates to the public about the EPA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) vessels program. Each newsletter will discuss new information, such as upcoming meetings, publications, or activities that relate to the NPDES vessels program.

Vessel General Permit Listening Session Federal Register Notice Published (PDF) - EPA is hosting a listening session on December 15, 2010 to seek the views of the interested public on requirements currently listed in the 2008 VGP and any changes or additions recommended for the next VGP. Although the Agency has started research for the next Vessel General Permit, the listening session serves as an additional opportunity for the public to comment or provide relevant information for development of the next VGP. The Federal Register Notice includes more information about the session, including instructions on how to submit written comments.
