- Final Pesticide General Permit - EPA issuance of the final National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permit for point source discharges to waters of the United States from the application of
(1) biological pesticides, or (2) chemical pesticides that leave a residue. This permit, also known as the Pesticide General Permit (PGP), was developed in response to a decision by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals (National Cotton Council, et al. v. EPA).

- Public Comment Period on Draft ESA Determination on Pesticide General Permit - EPA is seeking public comment on a draft reasonable and prudent alternative contained in the National Marine Fisheries Service draft Biological Opinion on the Pesticide General Permit to ensure that discharges covered under the permit are not likely to jeopardize endangered or threatened species or their critical habitat. The comment period is for 30 days and ends on July 25, 2011.

- Pesticide General Permit for Discharges from the Application of Pesticides - On June 2, 2010, EPA announced the public availability of a draft National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for point source discharges from the application of pesticides to waters of the United States. This permit is also known as the Pesticides General Permit (PGP). The PGP was developed in response to a decision by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals (National Cotton Council, et al. v. EPA).
