Security Clearance Process
In accordance with OIG security procedures, you are required to obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance. The type of security clearance you will need is based on your job assignment. Below are three links that will take you to the appropriate forms you will need for each of the clearances: Suitability Determination, Postal Sensitive, and Top Secret. If you do not know what type of security clearance you will require, please contact one of our Personnel Security Team members listed in the Contact box on the right.

You will also need Fingerprint Cards, Proof of Citizenship, and a Digital Photo
If you have a TS or higher, no fingerprint cards or proof of citizenship is required.
If you are an intern, then also complete PS Form 2181C - Postal Sensitive Forms:
