The Army Officers’ Wives’ Club through AOWCGWA/Fort Myer Thrift Shop (a 501 exempt non-profit organization) raises money for scholarships and community grants.  Last year, our club, through the efforts of our thrift shop volunteers raised $228,500 for scholarships and grants.  

The 2013 scholarships and community grants will be awarded in celebration of the dedicated AOWCGWA/Fort Myer Thrift Shop volunteers who have raised money for scholarships and community grants throughout the 36 years of service.

 We give grants to organizations that provide a service or support to our local military. Each request is considered on a case by case basis based on the information given to the committee by the requesting organization.
