Region 2 Issues

  1. Long Island Sound Study - The watershed for LISS includes portions of Connecticut and New York and extends from the East River in New York to the eastern tip of Long Island
  2. Peconic Estuary Program - The geographic area for PBEP is entirely within eastern Suffolk County,New York between the north and south forks of Long Island.
  3. New York-New Jersey Harbor Estuary Program - The core area for HEP is the urban harbor of New York and New Jersey from the Tappan Zee Bridge to Sandy Hook, including Newark Bay and its tributaries.
  4. Barnegat Bay Estuary Program - The BBEP study area is located in Ocean County, New Jersey between Point Pleasant Canal and Little Egg Harbor Inlet.
  5. Delaware Estuary Program - The DELEP study area stretches from Trenton, New Jersey to Lewes, Delaware and includes 22 counties in , and .
  6. San Juan Bay Estuary Program - The SJBEP study is located on the north coast of Puerto Rico and is made up of a series of bays, lagoons and canals.
