Flight Photos for 1961
On 29 June 1961, Lackland Military Training Center began using a 231-acre portion of the Atomic Energy Commissions's Medina Base. The acreage included a building complex into which the Officer Training School moved and a Capehart housing complex. By August Air Training Command designated the recently occupied site on Medina Base as the Lackland Training Complex.
