Summary

On March 29, David Dobbs, Assistant Inspector General for Aviation and Special Program Audits, testified before the House Science Committee’s Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee on progress to date with the FAA’s Joint Program and Development Office (JPDO) and plans for the Next Generation Air Transportation System. Mr. Dobbs’ testimony focused on: (1) the JPDO’s role in leveraging existing federal resources; (2) progress and challenges with aligning diverse agency budgets, and (3) actions the JPDO needs to take to move forward.
