During your first week in the office, your Supervisor will work with you to ensure that you’re progressing through your orientation plan and meeting all administrative requirements of your new position as well as beginning the performance management process to help you quickly become a productive employee.

Training
Though you may not have full network access during your first week, there are a series of required training classes that are available online for your access. If possible, your Supervisor will find you a functional computer station through which to access these trainings, which include Cyber Awareness, Security, and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO).
Performance Management
While this is an ongoing process, it must begin with a frank discussion between you and your supervisor. During this discussion—typically known as the “planning” phase—you will determine basic performance expectations. These will form the backbone of your work, a foundation on which you base your function within the office.
