The Office of Inspector General (OIG) is initiating an audit of the National Transportation Safety Board’s (NTSB) Consolidated Financial Statements for Fiscal Years 2009 and 2008. It will be conducted according to government auditing standards and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) audit requirements. The audit is being performed by an external audit firm, Leon Snead and Company, PC, subject to OIG oversight.
