Conservation Districts are local govenments at work and their specific responsibility is management of our soil and water resources. The idea behind their formation is to keep decision making on soil and water conservation matters at the local level. Easch district is governed by a board of seven supervisors who serve with out pay. It is the duty of the board to develop the plan of work for the district and to manage the district programs.
