Texas provides its Air Guard members with 100% tuition reimbursement up to 12 hours per semester at state colleges and universities. |
Medical Benefits |
Texas Air Guard members enjoy excellent medical care while on active duty, and are provided with disability, survivor benefits, low-cost health and life insurance, and funeral expenses. |
Miscellaneous |
The Texas Veterans Land Bond Program provides low interest loans to Air Guard members looking to buy land or a house, or to fund home improvements. Air Guard members also have exclusive access to distinctive auto plates. Texas state employees that serve in the Air Guard get 15 days military leave per year. |
