PARENT/TEACHER/STUDENT ORGANIZATION

Antilles High School has a Parent/Teacher/Student Organization (PTSO) which meets regularly during the school year. Notices are sent home regarding the specific time/date of planned activity. Membership is automatic. Education is a family affair. Please join one of PTSO’s committees this year. For returning students, as well as the newcomers, the PTSO has planned numerous events to ensure your child has a memorable year. The cooperation of each parent, student, and teacher is solicited to ensure the smooth operation of planned events and the proper development of your child’s mind. Guidelines Governing DDESS School Boards

Each of our communities has an elected School Board with members from that respective site. The School Board plays an important role in providing input from the community to the Administration. The District appreciates the contributions these people make to our schools and system.

The boards do not address items specific to individual students and we ask that the Chain-of-Command from the classroom teacher to the School Board be followed. Federal law prohibits the boards from making decisions regarding the disbursement of funds or personnel actions.

Board meetings are open to the public. Please contact any member of your School Board for specific information on School Board agendas. Per government regulation, we are unable to list name and contact information for school board members on our site. Please contact your local school or the District Superintendents Office to get contact information.
