Key Staff

The Earth Science Council at Sandia National Laboratories is comprised of a multidisciplined group of leading scientists and technicians in their areas of expertise. We’ve chosen to apply our capabilities by focusing on challenges facing the nation and the world in these areas: carbon capture, reuse, and sequestration; persistent monitoring; geotechnical systems analysis and engineering; resource exploration, extraction, and development; and underground storage. Our contribution in these focus areas is distinguished by the unique ability to mesh geoscience with diverse disciplines resourced across the laboratories—resulting in collaborative proficiencies not available elsewhere. Our teams have the ability to evolve integrated solutions to solve the most challenging problems.
