The Inspector General replied to a request from Rep. James Clyburn regarding the status of the FAA's implementation of the Whistleblower Protection provision of AIR-21 intended to protect air carrier employees. Our response described several significant steps taken by FAA to implement the provisions including the creation of Internet web pages, MOUs, internal bulletins and the publishing of 50,000 whistleblower posters to inform the public.
