The IACP Foundation

PROTECT.  HONOR.  SUPPORT.

What we do.

The mission of the IACP Foundation is to support injured and fallen officers and their families, protect the safety of officers, and support the goals and programs of the IACP.

Why we do it.

Tens of thousands of law enforcement officers are injured or disabled every year.  Many of those injuries, including felonious assaults against officers, are predictible and preventable.

The IACP Foundation is committed to creating a culture of officer safety, health and wellness by supporting Association efforts that prevent officer injury and provide access to assistance for officers.

Additionally, we honor those who have sacrificed in the law enforcement community, by giving back through our Fallen Officer Fund and through our SELECT Scholarship program.

Who we are.

The IACP Foundation is led by a Board of Officers who are dedicated to providing real, meaningful support to law enforcement officers and agencies across the globe.

Our board members reflect a rich blend of commited private sector partners and police executives, each bringing unique skills and talents to the board table to make the IACP Foundation a powerful force in professional policing.

IACP Foundation Provides Grants to Fallen Officers' Families

On average, one U.S. law enforcement officer is killed every 56 hours; and even one is too many.  The IACP and the IACP Foundation are committed to honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and to ensuring that agencies adopt a "zero tolerance" policy when it comes to officer injury and death.

As the result of a generous gift from the TASER Foundation, the IACP Foundation is proud to provide critical, immediate support to the families of law enforcement officers fallen in the line of duty.

An immediate gift of $5000.00 is available to the beneficiary of the fallen officer through this IACP Foundation/TASER Fallen Officer Fund.
