Linda Wiechowski, PhD

Dr. Wiechowski has been teaching at Walsh College since 1984. She has also taught at the University of Detroit Mercy, Wayne State University and Saint Mary’s College.
Dr. Wiechowski specializes in teaching financial management and economics in the MBA program as well as finance in the BBA and MSF programs. She has also taught health economics, health care finance, as well as a variety of computer courses. Dr. Wiechowski has developed and taught numerous online courses. She has also presented “Online Best Practices” at a variety of educational conferences.

Greg Todd

Associate Professor Greg Todd has been a Walsh College faculty member since 1991, joining the full-time faculty in 1999. He has taught at Wayne State University and served as the financial vice-president for a Detroit area automotive supplier.
Greg is a certified management accountant with graduate degrees in both history and finance. His academic interests include corporate finance, managerial accounting, and financial markets and institutions.

John Moore

Associate Professor John Moore joined the Walsh College faculty as an adjunct professor in 1994, and was hired as a full-time faculty member in 2008. Prior to joining Walsh full-time, he worked for in private industry, primarily as a chief financial officer in the commercial real estate industry.
John is a certified public accountant and is currently finishing a doctoral degree from Wayne State University in American economic and business history. His teaching and scholarly interests include American foreign trade policy, business and economic history, commercial real estate, investments and corporate finance.

Louise August, CPA, PhD

Associate Professor Louise August joined the Walsh College faculty as an adjunct professor in 1996, and became a full-time faculty member in 2010. Before joining Walsh full-time, she held a research appointment at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Education of Women. Prior to that Dr. August worked for in private industry, as chief financial officer/controller in retail/wholesale and international service businesses.
Dr. August is a certified public accountant and holds a doctoral degree from the University of Michigan in Postsecondary Education. Her teaching and scholarly interests include corporate finance, and HR policy and practice that promote work-life balance and career satisfaction in the workplace.
