Policies and Procedures - General School Guidelines

  1. To report a child sick or absent for emergency reasons, call the school as early as possible explaining the absence. If parents know beforehand that a child will be absent, they should send a note prior to the absence.
  2. If a child arrives late to school, the parent must sign the child in at the office.
  3. Students must pay for damage purposefully or carelessly done to school property.
  4. Clothing should be appropriate and suitable for school. For more details, read the Student Dress Code.
  5. Notify the office, either by note or phone call, of any change in a child's normal dismissal routine.
  6. Persons entering the building MUST come to the office first, sign in, and obtain a visitor badge. This is for the safety of all students and staff members.
  7. Lunch tickets may be purchased from 8:00 to 9:00 and 1:00 to 2:00 in the cafeteria.
  8. Parents/guardians are expected to display the appropriate behavior and level of respect while on school grounds. In the event the parent/guardian becomes volatile, or uses abusive language, the Military Police will be called.

Up-to-Date Contact Information

You are strongly urged to notify the school office when home, work, or emergency phone numbers change. Also, please provide names and phone numbers of emergency contact persons who we can contact in the event your child is seriously ill or injured and we are unable to locate you.

We also need current information on your child's dismissal routine, i.e., whether they ride the bus home or to a child care provider, walk, or are to be picked up after school. This information includes names of those people who are authorized to pick up your child from school.
