Biography

Director of Digital Strategy at U.S Department of Commerce As Director of Digital Strategy for the U.S. Department of Commerce, I am responsible for the online presence of 11 bureaus and the Office of the Secretary. My day can consist of writing a blog post about a new initiative, checking Google Analytics for a program office and working with multiple teams to ensure that an event has enough coverage on Twitter, Facebook and Ustream. Inherent in my responsibilities is to set policy and procedures for the entire U.S. Department of Commerce, roughly 2% of federal workforce, but my primary day-to-day responsibility is managing the Drupal-based Commerce.gov website and blog.
