The
Association of Alaska Housing Authorities (AAHA)
is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation
whose board of directors include the executive
directors of fourteen of Alaska's regional housing
authorities and the executive director of the
Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, the state's
housing finance agency. Alaska's regional housing
authorities provide housing in every part of Alaska,
in addition to sponsoring a wide variety of resident
initiatives.
The AAHA provides a range of programs and services, all geared toward increasing the supply of safe, sanitary and affordable housing and community development on the state and national level.
The AAHA is involved in state and federal legislative advocacy and provides housing funding information and technical assistance to member organizations, interested non-profits, for-profits, local communities and the general public.
