2009 H1N1 Influenza (Swine flu): Update August 13, 2009
Outbreaks of a new strain of the 2009 H1N1 influenza (also
known as Swine Flu) have been detected in humans across the
United States, Mexico and other countries. The Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), along with the World
Health Organization (WHO) are diligently investigating reported
outbreaks. Guidance and recommendations that DOE employees
can take to protect their health and the health of their friends
and families are provided below.
