"A Chaplain Corps which delivers religious accommodation, care, and
advisement to strengthen faith, values, and virtues so that Guardians and
families may best serve our country."
Chaplain Corps Core
Capabilities:
FACILITATE: for the religious ministry and support
of other faiths to authorize personnel.
PROVIDE: based on ecclesiastical endorsement of the
chaplains to meet the faith group specific needs to authorized
personnel.
ADVISE: commanders on matters related to faith and
spiritual well-being, morale, morals, and ethics to ensure the free
exercise of religion; serve as command liaison to civilian religious
leaders, communities, organizations, and agencies.
CARE: meet the basic human need; advocate for and
promote the well-being of all personnel.
