IG Special Agents Participate in Houston Airport Arrests

Summary
OIG special agents participated with INS, Social Security Administration OIG, and TSA in the arrest of 28 airport employees as of 2:00 p.m., at Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX. A total of 143 people including 5 TSA contract screeners were indicted with various violations of Federal law during the process of applying for airport security badges. Concurrently, INS is planning on detaining illegal foreign nationals who are holding security badges.
