The Center will focus on four particular thrust areas that are well aligned with existing programs and provide paths to the future. Specific thrusts will be selected by the Board of Directors. A project would terminate after a predetermined period at which it would be expected to transfer into programmatic funding, preferably newly attracted. There will be annual reviews of the Center's activities from an external committee.
