The MRO team would like to thank everyone for their interest and participation in GSA’s “Janitorial & Sanitation (JanSan) and Maintenance, Repair, & Operations Products (MRO) Listen to Industry Day” held January 30th.

During the session, industry members provided valuable feedback on commercial best practices that will help GSA work across government, streamline agency procurement operations and drive needed savings. In addition to outlining the benefits of strategic sourcing, rules of engagement for the solution development process, and the rollout timeframe, key topics of discussion included:

Addressing data collection and reporting
Identifying cost drivers
Facilitating ease of use for customers
Allowing service providers to participate
Fulfilling government-wide statutory goals
Ensuring dynamic participation of vendors
