This is an important message from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Replace all lifesaving drugs you think may have been damaged in a disaster as soon as possible. In an emergency, you can take lifesaving drugs that were stored properly in their containers if they look normal and dry. Remember to stop taking them as soon as replacement medication becomes available. Throw out any pills that appear wet or look and smell different. To learn more, call CDC at 800-CDC-INFO.
