Welcome to the Fort Bliss Recycling Center Website!
Our Mission of the Ft. Bliss Recycles Program is to increase recycling, divert waste from the landfill and reduce contamination, while preserving and conserving natural resources for our future.
Our Vision is to be the BEST Recycling Program in the Nation.
We are a national and state award winning program. Recently, the recycling programs at Fort Bliss received the Pollution Prevention Award from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. (Learn more...)
Profits from recycling benefit Fort Bliss Soldiers and Families.
Fort Bliss is governed by certain regulations and mandates to recycle, but the real reasons you should recycle are:
* The Fort Bliss Recycling Policy mandates that all who serve or work on Fort Bliss must recycle.
* Executive Order 13514 mandated by the Department of Defense and the President of the United States to divert 50% of our waste through reuse and recycling.
