Learn To Fly (Model Airplanes): The Staten Island RC Modelers invite you to their Flying Field to experience the joy and excitement of flying model airplanes! Karmin and Dragonette Concert in the Park: As part of the GMA Summer Concert series, Karmin (an American pop duo) and Dragonette (a Canadian-based electronic music band) will perform for free at Central Park Conservancy on Friday, July 20, at 7 a.m. Instead of your Friday morning caffeine boost, get your java jolt from the energy of the crowd and the beat of the music!

Park Bird Walks: Explore a pocket of nature with NYC Audubon experts and the Urban Park Rangers as they explain the wildlife around you in this walk through Van Cortlandt Park. Saturday, July 21 at 8:00 a.m. at the Van Cortlandt Nature Center, The Bronx.

Plant Rescue with the Conservation Crew: You can make the city greener by helping plant and clean in the Bronx River Forest! All tools and supplies will be provided. Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Bronx Park (Bronx River Forest at Burke Bridge).

Stop ‘N’ Swap: Bring clean, reusable, portable items you no longer need and take home something new-to-you.  No need to bring an item in order to take an item. Saturday, July 21, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. on Grand St between Lorimer St and Union Ave, Brooklyn.

SummerStage Kids: Griots in Concert: African “Griots” are traditionally drummers and storytellers. Through the Griots, the oral tradition is passed down throughout the generations by inspirational, educational and motivating performances with stories, music and songs from Africa, the Caribbean and America. Bring your kids to a concert they’ll enjoy! Friday, July 20, 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in Crotona Park, Bronx.
