U.S. Embassy Condemns Suicide in Kunar

The United States condemns yesterday’s suicide attacks in the Nishegam Mosque in Kunar Province. Our condolences go out to the families of the victims of this heinous attack, which killed four and wounded nine individuals inside the mosque during Friday prayers.

The United States remains committed to working alongside our Afghan allies to prevent violent acts of terror, and will continue to support Afghanistan as it works to provide and improve security for the people of Afghanistan.
