Artistic Discovery - the Congressional Art Competition
2013 Contest Information
The 2013 Congressional Art Competition is a nation-wide high school art competition sponsored by the Congressional Institute. Members of the U.S. House of Representatives conduct the competition within their respective districts and the contest is open to all high school students.
The winning entry from each Congressional District across the United States will be displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. The winning students will be invited, along with one guest, to the unveiling of the exhibit and a reception in Washington, D.C. in June 2013, and will be provided two round-trip airline tickets for the occasion.
The 2012 contest winners may be viewed on the U.S. House Congressional Art Competition website. Please refer to the competition guidelines and student release form below when considering the competition.
The artwork should be delivered to Congressman McClintock's district office prior to the deadline. Please note that the deadline to submit art will be March 25, 2013.

2013 Student Release Form. Print out and complete form. To enter the contest, a completed student release form should be mailed to Congressman McClintock's district office at 8700 Auburn-Folsom Road, Suite 100, Granite Bay, CA 95746 or faxed to (916) 786-6364.
