Making Vision a Health Priority
World Sight Day is October 10, 2002
This year, World Sight Day (WSD) will be hosted by the National Eye Institute (NEI) in partnership with Lions Clubs International Foundation, Lighthouse International, and the International Agency to Prevent Blindness with the goal to educate our communities about the need to conquer preventable blindness and preserve sight.

Schedule - Thursday, October 10
10:30 a.m. - noon Children's Program:- reading a children's story in Braille;
- presentation on eye safety.
1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Older Adult's Program:
- interactive exhibits and a health fair with local eye-related organizations;
- special lectures on eye diseases in English and Spanish;
- All day vision screening in Lions Club of District 22C Blue and Gold Van
