NPES Trade Missions in India

In 2004, NPES began its project with MDCP. Between 2004 and June 2008, NPES, The Association of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies, saw $53,741,100 in U.S. exports to India.

Although substantial barriers to expors from the United States remain in this industry, NPES is committed to capitalizing on this huge market. As Delhi-based U.S. Commercial Officer Dale Tasharski has pointed out to industry executives, on the whole, U.S. market development activity is bearing fruit.

The number of trade missions to India is expected to grow from 10 in 2006 to 100 in 2008. Additionally, between 2004 and 2006, total U.S. exports to India grew by about 65 percent. Between 2006 and 2008, the increase will be well over 100 percent. See NPES.in for more information.
