Summary
The Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute (PMMI) is a trade association
representing manufacturers of packaging machinery. PMMI will promote exports
by (1) opening an office in Shanghai; (2) developing marketing materials in
Mandarin; (3) conducting market research on products; (4) presenting technical
seminars; (5) putting up a Mandarin Website; (6) developing a pavilion for Chinese
trade shows; (7) sending Chinese customers to US trade shows; and (8) coordinating
marketing with the U.S. Commercial Service.
