Central Target Simulator (CTS) Operations Section (Code 5762)

The Section’s focus is to utilize the CTS facility to support the effectiveness evaluation of current and future EW systems and techniques in the RF domain. Section personnel (engineers / technicians) configure and operate the CTS facility during experiments that support the optimization of EW systems and techniques to counter anti-ship missile threats. The Section keeps abreast of technological improvements that may be found in developmental threats and adds new capabilities to maintain simulation fidelity during testing with advanced threat simulators. Section personnel also perform all periodic facility maintenance and repairs.
