On behalf of the Farm Service Agency (FSA), welcome to the Oregon State FSA Website. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as FSA’s State Executive Director in Oregon.

 
The Oregon Farm Service Agency and it’s dedicated staff of more than 120 individuals are committed to serving all Oregon farmers, ranchers, and agricultural partners through the delivery of effective, efficient agricultural programs. We are here to serve you – to help Oregon farmers and ranchers secure the greatest possible benefit from programs administered by FSA. We accomplish this by providing quality service to Oregon’s agricultural community through a broad variety of commodity, loan and loan guarantee, conservation, and disaster relief programs. Biomass Crop Assistance Program
Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP) provides financial assistance to producers or entities that deliver eligible biomass material to designated biomass conversion facilities for use as heat, power, biobased products or biofuels. Initial assistance will be for the Collection, Harvest, Storage and Transportation (CHST) costs associated with the delivery of eligible materials.

Who we are:
The Farm Service Agency is a federal agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Located in all 50 states, our mission is to help American farmers provide reasonably priced food and fiber to the nation and the world.

The Farm Service Agency State Committee in Oregon oversees the activities of the agency. The members are appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture each year. They hear appeals from local farmers and guide the direction of agency policy.
