It is time to start planning your trip for the 2012 PWC Training Conference to New Orleans. New Orleans is a city that lingers between the old and new… Between history and legend.
Tucked away in this little corner of the American South, where European traditions blend with Caribbean influences, the history is as colorful as the architecture; the food is the stuff of legend. Haitian and African Creoles developed an exotic, spicy cuisine and were instrumental in creating jazz and Zydeco. A cultural Gumbo, the city celebrates it’s differences. In fact, they celebrate almost anything in the Big Easy.
We will be staying at the beautiful Loews Hotel which is located off of Poydras Street only a short walk from the famous River Walk and in between the French Quarter and Art District. Given an extra hour, there are numerous journeys for you to experience and explore the culture of New Orleans,

Transportation to Hotel
- Airport Shuttle DISCOUNTED Round Trip Airport Transportation Price $35 per person. In order to book your discounted airport/hotel shuttle reservations ONLINE, you must book no later than 24 hours prior to your flight arrival time.
- Taxis: There are thousands of taxis available on New Orleans streets and at major hotels. Taxi rates are $3.50 plus $2 per mile thereafter. There is also an additional charge of $1.00 per passenger after the first passenger. A fixed rate of $33 each way (one or two people) is charged from the airport to most areas in New Orleans. For parties of more than two, the fare is $14 per person/way.
- RTA services are $1.25, including bus transportation and the streetcar. Thirty-three bus and streetcar lines are running daily. Bus service allows for transportation throughout the city's major corridor.
