Western Pacific Regional Director - Kate Davis

Kate started her career with the FAA as a CO-OP student at Boston Center in September 1986. At the time, she was a junior at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH working toward her Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management/ATC. Within one week of graduating in May 1988, she reported to the FAA Academy in Oklahoma City. Upon successful completion, she reported to Nantucket Tower, off the southern coast of Massachusetts in September 1988. Island life was a great fit for Kate, but after 8 years, she headed to the mainland and Providence, Rhode Island. It was then that Kate had the opportunity to return to OKC for Radar Training. She met her future husband while training, and soon after moved to California to marry and continue her career. She has since worked at Livermore ATCT, San Francisco ATCT (as a CPC and TMC), Oakland Center (TMC) and since September 2010, at Oakland ATCT as a Front Line Manager.

Kate loves to travel and spend time with her husband (a retired ATCS) and 2 stepsons. She enjoys photography and scrap booking, riding her bike, and visiting the beach. Kate's career has been a true blessing and she looks forward to sharing her experiences, successes, challenges and PWC with others.
