Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado is currently accepting applications for campground hosts for the summer of 2013. Hosts receive a free campsite with sewer and water connections, and 30 and 50 amp service. The park is conveniently located 5 miles west of I-25 on Highway 34 just outside Loveland, 15 minutes south of Fort Collins, 40 minutes east of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, and 1 hour north of Denver. Loveland offers all amenities and services. Boyd Lake is one the most popular playgrounds for boaters, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts in Northern Colorado. Winters in the area are mild, with average daytime highs in the 40’s and nighttime lows in the 20’s. Snow is common, but it melts quickly in the bright sunshine. The park is open year round. Summer activities include boating/jetskiing, camping, fishing, picnicking, photography, and bird viewing. Camp hosts are needed to clean campsites, bathrooms, and laundry facilities, greet visitors, provide park and regional information, and assist in daily campground operations. A 4-6 month commitment is needed. Applications are being accepted for April 2011 – October 2012. Candidates will be contacted for an interview.
