Mobile User Experience Guidelines & Recommendations Workshop

Man with megaphone and button "Help Make Mobile Gov Here"A mobile product’s tendency to be used anytime, anywhere and in numerous contexts requires organizations to think about more than just the content, security and privacy of the mobile product. In fact, Smashing magazine listed 12 elements to consider when building a good mobile user experience.
Government agencies are looking for mobile user experience guidelines and recommendations to start on the right track in mobile development. The Digital Services Innovation Center in conjunction with the Departments of State, Labor and the National Library of Medicine will conduct a workshop on Thursday, November 29th  to collect and develop mobile user experience guidelines/recommendations for agencies to use when developing and updating mobile products (apps, mobile web, SMS, etc).
We’re putting the WORK in workshop at this event and we’re developing mobile user experience guidelines and recommendations that will be posted on the Mobile Gov Wiki. Government mobile user experience experts we  REALLY want you to come and contribute.
