TEAS 4.8 Release Summary

TEAS 4.8 was released into production on January 22, 2011.  The following highlights the components of the release.   

All Forms

Click All Forms for information about updates and enhancements that generally relates to all of the TEAS forms, including specific information about the new e-signature approach.

Initial Application Forms

Click Initial Application Forms for information about updates and enhancements that specifically relates to to the initial TEAS application forms.

Intent-to-Use Forms

Click Intent-to-Use Forms for information about updates and enhancements that specifically relates to to the TEAS Intent-to-Use forms.

Post-Publication Amendment Form

  • Add new statuses to the front-end edit, to prevent improper blocking for some scenarios.
  • Within the e-signature process, the final e-mail with the “submit” link will now be properly received by the originator of the request (bug fix).

Post-Registration Forms

Click Post-Registration Forms for information about updates and enhancements that specifically relates to to the TEAS Post-Registration forms.

Response Forms and Voluntary Amendment Form

Click Response and Voluntary Amendment Forms for information about updates and enhancements that specifically relates to to the TEAS Response Forms (Response to Office action form, Response to Suspension Notice/Inquiry form, Request for Reconsideration after Final Action form, Response to Post-Registration Office action form) and the Voluntary Amendment form.

Petition Forms

Click Petition Forms for information about updates and enhancements that specifically relates to to the TEAS Petition Forms. 

Change of Correspondence Address Form

  • Docket/reference number field added to Change of Correspondence Address form.

Madrid Forms

  • Transformation form can now be used when a limitation has been recorded in the prosecution history less than 3 months ago.

Revocation/Appointment Form

  • A checkbox has been added to permit pre-population of the attorney address information as the correspondence information.
  • Fixed problem where the validation page was expiring after printing the text from and hitting the back button.

Request to Divide Form

  • Wording in Input table changed to reflect “number of new applications” rather than “number of classes.”
