Community Reception at the E-Waste Warehouse – Come celebrate the opening of the LES Ecology Center’s E-waste Warehouse. You’ll have a chance to drop off your e-waste, tour the space, and learn all about this exciting project! Saturday, February 4, 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. 

Cross Central Park Promenade Tour – You will see many surprises: a hidden bench that tells time, miniature boats powered by the wind, a magnificent sculpture celebrating fresh water. These are just some of the sites on this east-to-west walk through the Park. Saturday, February 4, 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.

Exploring Our Climate – Is the unusually warm weather we’re experiencing part of a natural pattern, or are we experiencing a global change? Urban Park Rangers will explain what climate change means for our city and will help you prepare for the future. Saturday, February 4, 11:00 a.m. 

Fix Your Bike Workshop – Come learn how to fix bikes, do simple maintenance and tune-ups at the Time’s Up bike mechanic skill share. Sunday, February 5, 6:00 p.m. 

I Heart Worms – Valentine’s Day is the time for love and heart-shaped everything: chocolate, stuffed toys, and compost cookies! In this unique introduction to composting, you’ll bring home heart-shaped compost cookies to feed to your plants. Sunday, February 5, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Stop ‘N’ Swap – Bring clean, reusable, portable items you no longer need and take home something new-to-you. No need to bring something in order to take something. No furniture or large items, please. Sunday, February 5, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
