The primary function of the IRM division is to maintain ACT as a strategy driven organisation by ensuring that the Strategic Plan drives planning, programming, resource bidding, allocation, execution and reporting.

It should also provide for the qualitatively and quantitatively right resources and ensure they are committed and redistributed in accordance with SACT’s strategy. Ensure that new tasks are scrutinized, accepted, allocated and executed in line with SACT’s strategy. Contribute to ACT’s transformational output, especially by developing prioritized Capability Packages. Implement, improve and maintain business processes, including project administration, to increase ACT's effectiveness and efficiency. Continuously improve the ability of the staff to carry out SACT’s mission through targeted recruitment, training and the provision of business tools. Provide protocol, administrative, technical, and security support to HQ SACT.
