Reminder to review the Add/Modify non-DoD Person screen prior to initiating an Investigation Request in JPAS

Prior to initiating an Investigation Request in JPAS, review the Add/Modify non-DoD Person screen to ensure the Service/Agency field is populated with DoD Contractor Companies. If this field is not populated, or is populated with something other than DoD Contractor Companies, the Investigation Request will not be forwarded to DISCO. The Person Summary screen may reflect Investigation Request of NLC, Ready for Review PSQ on 2006 01 10.

If the above occurs, the contractor needs to access the Add/Modify non-DoD Person screen and select DoD Contractor Companies in the Service/Agency field for the correct category. The DoD Security Call Center must be notified at 888-282-7682 to have the original Investigation Request cancelled. This will allow the initiation of a new Investigation Request.

A correct submission will reflect "DISCO" at the end of the line, e.g. Investigation Request of NLC, Ready for Review PSQ on 2006 01 10.
