Geoffrey Aronow's picture

Geoffrey Aronow has served as General Counsel of the Securities and Exchange Commission since January 2013.  Previously, he was in private practice advising clients on regulatory matters before various administrative agencies. He is also an experienced civil and appellate litigator.  He served as director of enforcement at the CFTC from 1995 to 1999.  He is a 1980 graduate of Yale Law School and a 1976 summa cum laude graduate of Yale College.
