Underage Drinking

Underage drinking is a serious issue among adolescents. In the U.S. an estimated 10 million young people under the age of 21 drank alcohol in the past month.

SAMHSA’s new “Talk. They Hear You.” campaign gives parents and caregivers the information and resources they need to start talking early - as early as 9 years-old - with their children about the dangers of underage drinking.

Officially launching fall 2012, this Web site will regularly be updated with resources over the next few months. Be sure to check back for more information.
