How To Apply
The Franklin Fellows Program is an exciting executive development vehicle and opportunity to serve our country. Please carefully read the following eligibility requirements.
Eligibility:
Applicants MUST:
- Be a U.S. Citizen.
- NOT be a current Federal employee by the time of the projected starting date. (This is NOT a Federal appointment.)
- Be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance but do not need to have a clearance in order to apply.
- Submit a Financial Disclosure Form prior to serving.
- Receive an Ethics clearance prior to serving.
- Be available to serve for one (1) year as a Fellow.
- Be able to fund themselves for the duration of the Fellowship. (The Franklin Fellows Program has NO funds available to support Fellows at this time.)
Materials Required:
- Statement confirming you meet eligibility requirements (see above), including confirmation that you have the funds to support yourself.
- Resume
- List of at least three (3) positions in which you are most interested in serving as a Fellow. (See the list of Franklin Fellows Program assignments possibilities at http://careers.state.gov/FF.)
